i think Jam & Spoon made some classic trance tunes...age of love is simply a devine tune
and i am sure older trancers would be put in a state of bliss...the newer ones might not recognize it though....btw didnt one of the jam & spoon duo die some time back ?

Markus Löffel, the spoon, died from an heartattack last year I think..
He was rumored to be a heavy drug user wich probably killed him.

I have actually had other DJ's say to me that they would NEVER play anything that is more than 6 months old.
Well, to each their own I guess...but that will exclude a hell of a lot of great music.           Trance is the answer

I remember he played it at the twisted live party in may. Before I got into the psy scene this was an all time favourite of mine in the prog house/trance genre... the fact it mixes in so well with psy trance is just a bonus

^^maybe it also has 2 do with how strong the scene is ...
it's mainstream for u guys ....have 7-10 parties every week? and if u do show up at all, u r bound 2 hear similar tunes,,,so yes, u wud get bugged listenin 2 same stuff,,and hence, maybe dj's forced 2 play killer...sorry killarrghh tunes

but for less fortunate places, anything is appreciated and so we're not sooo critical about the music...

as for this track,,it's simply pretty cool!           <~< "the best things in life aren't things" - art buchwald >~>

I wasn't familiar with the track, but I think it`s a very melodic track, and I`m pretty sure it's inspired many Psy Trance artists. The melodies are way too deep.

Alex mentioned "Etnica's - Triptonite".
Last Etnica live I saw, they played this track. Kind of a new version, but still, there were many people who knew the orginal one, and went crazy just like myself at the moment.

In Brazil, it's always like this. Most DJ's are playing NN - NN tracks in here. Why?? Cause they`re killargh tunes.

There must be some nostalgy in parties.
I was talking the other day to a friend, and I told him how much I'd like to see old classic tunes being played at parties.

Reminds us of the guuuuuud shit...

Err. Old or new, whatever this guy done to the people on the dancefloor can't be put in words. No contemporary prog, psy or full on act can get anywhere near that mayhem. I prefer Gamma Goblins part 69 than todays vacuum cleaner noise music. Sorry.

exactly plus I like the tune imo           http://www.last.fm/user/LastFmKoen
