i cut only the low artifacts at around 110hz and highpass(notcut) from a pad.
a long tail in the kick still takes the same amount of the low range changes nothin' you can put a simple highpass filter automation to close and open the lows for the pad if you want the lows of the pad when it plays without the kick.
ahhh:( if only had the cpu.....

You need the high clicks. I watched a couple of the related videos, and that drum beat is in a lot of those. Without it, the beat sounds really trancy. You may be using too much bass drum too. In the song he's got, it's really sparse and the beat is carried more with those high percussions.

Slow it down, you're way to high. This is big beat bpm!
And while you're slowing down drop a huge release on the kick drum for that "bouuuuuum"

-less bpm
-stretching the tail of the kick
-find another bass...
@obelizk, the kick itself seems to be not that loud,
but the subs of it are boomy like A.Rosengren said.
maybe i should do some clones to really figure out,
whats going on...
what i wonder about this music, there are very differnt ones,
but this autotune make it sounds like its all the same...
example:
where is this heavy beat we just mentioned?
bpm are fast, kick is nearly trance (no offbeat)... and a fat supersaw lead lol
so what makes this track sounds like its no trance??

The fact that they're singing, the super cliche key changes, and fact that if you're muting the vocals it's totally empty.
