Ok it's been a while but I will buy the yamahas probably monday or maybe tomorrow if I get up that soon then will make my tinitus a pleasure. The Adams are too much for me for now.
But maybe in not that long future.
The yamahas won't be that qood but nevertheless next step will be a smooth accoustic treatment and I have already nice information from this sides.
May supreme bless this side,my absolute favourite source cool to learn all this from you guys.
If you think I could get sth better for 500 euros please tell me,for those who know I will buy in just in music hamburg

Thanks
So you think a5 is better than yamaha 80 with its bass spectrum? I'll buy than a subwoofer asap but thaought it might be wiser to buy the yamahas and in a hopefuly not long time a7 since things seems to change a bit for positive here.
Could you say which a5 are the nicest from my link?
What about this?

I can't give more than 5 hundred for this month and will really get some the next days-budget is really small.
Well I take a cd and test a few in short and aks a few question there also but your opinions is better regarding psytrance I think.
Anyways thank you.
Cheers

man...i would completly advice you to not buy at just music..the people selling equipment there are really not able at all to give you good advices..

go across the street to digital audio service and ask for thomas klosinsky..he will help you out much further..

you can even borrow different pairs of monitors to check for 10 days at your home!!!

then you might ask for a kind of financing..i was working in this shop for one year..so its possible most of the time to just spend half of the money and then pay in rates about two or three months further..so the A7`s could be yours..

please avoid justmusic...at DAS they will take the time for you to really help you out..

tell Thomas that Mark has send you, then you might even get a better deal..

cheers           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

It is a nice place for guitars and so on, and because they got a lot of stuff there to touch and actualy see..but for advices/support and better prices i would always suggest to go across the street..

even its a small shop , but they care a lot more for there customers and know alot more about the whole thing actualy..

even better give them a call before and make something like a "Termin" with Thomas K., so he can manage his time for you..

Try to avoid Arnd, cause he maybe sort of wanna just sell anything he got in the store, since he`s the chef...just that you know..

but try to deal a little..they usually like that..like if they got some A7`s build up in the store ask for demo pricing, and/or if its possible to finance these ones for example..

ok, wish you good luck!

cheers

^that comment also sounds good.

btw ..

what is the advantage of 35000hz when the only analysers I saw go only to 20 khz? Maybe the question should be stated in some other shape but I hope you get me.. - my question.

thanks

When a speaker has a range it can reproduce sound in say 50hz-20,000Hz. 20,000Hz is the maximum it can reproduce.
When speakers reach their limits the frequency spectrum begins to fall off and the speaker isn't able to reproduce that peak frequency accurately.

So a speaker that has a max 20,000Hz probably doesn't reproduce 20,000Hz very accurately. Where as one that can go to 35,000Hz has no troubles reproducing 20,000Hz because that freqency is well within it's range.

Hope that makes sense to you.

I think you will be hard pushed to hear 35kHz

I have the HS80M's as airyck said and I like them a lot.

I don't have a treated room, but I've been able to make some good sounding music with them that sounds good on large rigs as well.

Mine hiss a bit, but after using them for about a month I stopped noticing it. I think they're great monitors to get to start.

Do you have your monitors plugged into a power conditioner? If your getting that hiss while the speaker is idle, it's usually the result of dirty, unconditioned AC current. Could also be a that you have a defective ground. Your location has a big impact, older buildings for instance have older electrical systems which can produce very harsh currents.

Try bringing your speakers to a store and plugging them into a power conditioner to see if hiss goes away.
