which do you prefer and which do u think is a better idea:
to do some finishing touches (not L2) on soundforge/wavelab or everything in the sequencer.
i was playing around with some things in soundforge and found it very easy for some effects to just do on the whole wav instead of exporting pieces in cubase and applying it there.

i think its better on the soundforge, because you
can see the problems that you have in the mix,
if theres any...
and when you see the wav you know exactly how
much you need to compress and limit.
of course it depends on your ears... but still
its better when you know what you are doing |

I never touch the mixdown. I make it all in the sequencer.
I use sound forge only to see the waveform, but then apply whatever needs applying in the seq.
