I think said burritos may have came from North Star. I know they were on site Saturday night with Sushi, wraps, and smoothies. ACtually the next day when we went in there they were playing a copy of the Dreamtime Circus cd for a bit... Very nice atmosphere...

The guy there seemed to really dig the festival and wanted to ask us all kinds of questions about the psytrance scene and it's intricacies. They need to just move that place to Austin...

"psytrance set on no less than 5 decks"

you got to be kidding me??? Very sorry i missed this feat.
3 is hard, 4 insane, 5... whoa .. thats like some Qbert type shit...., but with psy.... impressive

and those Burittos were the bomb diggity. Really some of the best on site party food ive had

and while i dont want to get into this what is psychedelic debate....
High BPMS do not mean something is more psychedelic. There is some crazy, moody, glitchy IDM out there that i think kicks the hell out of the deepest crazyiest neuro in levels of psychedelia, because after all, even 180 bpm neuro is still built on and hence confined to the 4/4 time signature. If it wasnt, it wouldnt be trance anymore.
but in the end its all relative
and Barney pitched down to -85.0 with the cdj tempo on wide, would blow anything out of the water

actually, the said burritos came from the purple bus with the phrase "this is freedom" painted on it and they were rainbow family folks. did anyone try their ganja pancakes in the mornings? yum

AUM was incredible!!! i met trancers from 24 different states. it was so amazing to chill and dance and laugh and swim and freak out with everyone. the tribes came together and became one tribe. the location was incredibly beautiful (sunday's foggy sunrise felt like we were in a mountainous rainforest)

Musical Highlights for me were MONKS OF MADNESS!!!! (during their set, limbs were flying off of peoples bodies and through the air and then getting stomped on), Deep Fryer, Onnomon, and Freedom and Shaggee
thanks so much to everyone!!!

all there for everyone.

also enjoyed the silic8 set very unik

yep, also saw some 4-5 deck experiment in chillout boot

oh forgot to mention during a road trip from airport to the location vice versa. i saw more wallmart and churches compare to houses, how weird ...

Thank you so much to everyone involved! It is amazing to see a vision manifest. I definately think the seed was planted and the possibitilies for the future are divine. I will indeed be at the next one.
My favorite sets were Ghreg on Earth followed by EgNogRa on Sun. morn, then Mubali, Freak of Nature and Dimitri Mon. morn. I, however, loved the energy of ALL the dj's playing and the people dancing. Good times.

p.s. I happen to think there could have been a little more music on the "darker" side or whatever.. I call it psychedelic. Just MY opinion... all mine.

When i received the lineup and saw that i had a morning slot on Friday, i actively sought out songs that would fit the time (and how difficult it was). I felt i played a set that would of pleased fans of both the light/dark spectrum. Not many people were around to hear it unfortunately. I think the few people that were there were recouping from the long drive and whatnot for that first night. But i definitely tried to rock the morning vibe. Hope those that heard enjoyed

Hehe, that would be Tamara and Henry and yes they had hella good food and Tamara's son, Zarek was a friend indeed to me and my son. He was too sweet.

Anyways, yeah, rock. They had good food. Beat that vendors, free food handed out to satisfy the soul. They gave away free salads too once I gave them all the paper bowls and plates I had. Will run into them soon.
