This is a mental review by Gosse Beerda aka Dj Shawnodese that I cant find on the forum so I'm posting it again :-}
"I was lucky to get this one of my Alchemy buddy Starspine....can tell ya'all that this one gonna hit hard.....topclass food for psy-junkies of the daaaaark side !!!! Broken Toy tunes favourites , specially the "Ok....I think you've been a bad girl....and I want to spank you !!!" sample of "Spanking Season" really did my head in the right way after hearing it the first time...more humor like this please....hahahaha !!!! Rinkadink delivers the usual lovely dose of madness. Damage...well..the name says it all....you better run and hide....!!! Broken Toy - Baby again with a mental storming bassline...no mercy nighttune at it's very best !!! South-Africa is on the lead with nightmusic for me right now with all these amazing killer acts coming up very very strong !!!! Xatrik is pretty unknown name but not really new...the Slug I never heard off....they deliver also a crankin' tune here...aiaiaiai...bassline deeper than deep I'd say !!! Then it's time for one of the best of the album...Shift....aiaiaia...I
really gotta watch out not to bang my head straight through the wall and scaring the shit out of my neighbours like that when I listen to this one....fuuuuuuuuucking dark and mental hard tune....the engine running like a way-over-the-top locomotive just heading ffwd on a manic mission headin' for total aural mayhem....aaaaaaaaaaaaargh !!! Then as if it's never enough for those guys down in that mad insane country....Damage again does nothing else but....yes..indeed....DAAAAAAAAAAAAMAGE !!! I can't resist...all starts shakin'...somebody pleeeeeeeeeeeease help me...I can't stop moving no more.....hahahahahaa !!!!!!!! Phyx.....well....phyxing me up for sure...."Gravity Boots" are definitely needed for this one to make sure you don't bounce straight up to the Moon or even way beyond that....Then a real surprise of my buddy Starspine (Alchemy/Afrogalactic)....who's kickin' major ass with this tune with his partner....normally they're way more on the proggy side of things...but for this comp. they've been seriously tapping into their psyroots and did a magnificent job.....not as hard and twisted as the rest of the album...but a serious psytune to be played in the hours of the twilight zone for sure !!!! Then...just to give you another major headfuck....Artifakt fusing psychedelics with funk.....do I need to say more? It's not a trancetune....but for sure this would get anybody manic, being played at the right moment early in the morning...perfect finish of a manic nightset that ends in the first sunrays....just to get all boogy-ing like a bunch of insane baboons....all in all....this comp. is a dangerous piece of plastic.....one after the other stormer...I'm gonna need some serious mental help and at least half a kilo of tranquillizers to get a bit calm again after this cd....this really should go with a warning !! I'm off to the drugstore to get some of those chill pills......'cause I'm a meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess now after hearing all this....cya !!!!! |
