How about Asura's unreleased album between Lost Eden and Life^2, "Redemption".
Charles posted about it on twitter the other day, but I never got a straight answer why they never released it. Vincent just said "nop sorry" to it ever being released.

It's why there is a gap from the afterain EP and Life^2

I had a really long post typed up but my god damn mouse pad caused me to close the tab FML.
Needless to say it's a little more complicated than that. There used to be 4 members of Asura. Vincent left to make Aes Dana after 'Code Eternity'. Alex Ackerman left after Lost Eden, as did Chris Maze, though Maze stuck around and sang on a couple tracks of Life^2. 'Redemption was supposed to be released between LE, and L^2. Afterain EP which was a teaser for Redemption was released in '08 and there was a 4 year gap between LE and L^2.
This leads me to only one logical conclusion. There was some sort of legal battle either between Farewell Maze and Ackerman, or a combination thereof. Or, between members and the label (Vince was surprisingly short on the subject when I inquired on FB).
Either way the real losers here are the fans who don't get to hear this album.
