1st impression after quick listening: same, good Aes Dana's sound. Not enough fresh ideas. Overall solid album.
Need to listen to it more on a proper soundsystem

I have only listen to the samples but I must say that this sounds like he has moved a bit out of his comfort zone, and I like it a lot!
Sounds much more upbeat and a more varied.
Heaven report & Antimatter (post) sounds awesome.
  - The yeti loves to drink shnaps too, so he's like a real shaman... he, uhm, uh, if you want to contact him, you have to put some alcoholic offerings in front of the forest. |

Yes, another strong release from Ultimae.
Got it today, listened to it once so far, and really enjoyed it.
Vince definitely expanded the Aes Dana sound and style once again, but his signature enchanting atmospheres are still here.
Lovely, mysterious, ear pleasuring compositions.
It is also very nice to see that Ultimae refreshed their style of CD packaging and cover artwork design. It is Beautiful as always, but a bit different, in a very good way.
Cheers !

Mh, I am not euphoric about this one, but it`s still very good music for me, if played at the right time. |

P.S
Will love to hear a collaboration album of Aes Dana and Field Rotation.
"Anthrazit" is such a beautiful track !
These two can make amazing music together.

Listened to it a few more times since I got it, and well, it's excellent!
High quality album, as always from Ultimae.
Great sound designs that provide deep beautiful atmospheres.

Hm, with me it`s a bit opposit: the more I listen to it, the less I like it, well ... not my style, maybe ... |

After two more listening sessions today, I can honestly say that I really love this album. Like with most Ultimae releases, it takes a bit of time to Really feel the beauty, but when you do, it's highly rewarding.
[ Perimeters ] is probably the most unusual and refreshing Aes Dana album. A wonderful, emotional, and mind boosting journey that demonstrates rich sophisticated beatwork, seductive, haunting, atmospheric pad streams, powerful and sometimes disturbing piano lines and basslines, interesting field recordings, and of course, strings by Christoph Berg aka Field Rotation on the first track "Anthrazit" which is such a lovely and evocative opener. Glitchy at times but always crystal clear sounding, this album is a delicious combo of ambient, downtempo electronica and progressive trance. A great follow-up to Aes Dana's 2009's excellent album - [ Leylines ]
The inside, outside, and booklet artwork is beautiful as well.
Cheers !
