I love the mystical atmosphere of "Heights"
and the "Leylines" track is very nice as well with that laid-back,hypnotic morning twilights trance sound.
looking forward to get it.
cheers ! |

wow!!! great news! for me its most forthcoming release!
Last tracks that I heard (Cyan from "Water", Evergreen from "Slow Motion" and Air Conditionning from "Air") are favourite ambient ones for 2008-2009..
Also I wanna add that release on "Water" together with Vince is big honour for me |

I just love the way he can make the good old classic Goa trance style to sound so fresh !
according to the tracks on his myspace page and from the samples in the Ultimae website " Leylines " sounds very promising !
his ambient style sounds deeper and hypnotic than ever.. and the sound is very lush and atmospheric.
unique stuff !

The samples are absolutely excellent.
Sounds like this is going to be as good (if not better?) than his previous albums.
Here's hoping the release date isn't too far off! |

Hm, pre-listend this morning, but am not as euphoric as most others, who gave comments here. Will give it another go somewhen. |

Just thought that a suitable thread for this release would be nice, with all the info and stuff.. hope that's OK with you Vince ?
here we go...
Release date : 3rd June 2009 - Pre-order period started.
CD Digipack 3 parts + Booklet 16 pages
presentation from the Ultimae website:
French composer Vincent Villuis, aka AES Dana, known for his participation to the H.U.V.A. Network band and co-manager of Ultimae Records, signs here his 4th ambient downtempo album and presents 10 immersive tracks of luminous darkness.
"For those who believe in them, Leylines are invisible lines of forces that connect centers of geomagnetic power to one another."
Throughout the album, the artist builds upon the concept of connections that exist between various musical genres and influences, interlinks between the elements surrounding us, the feelings of life. Sound becomes organic matter, clay.
Tapped, scraped, plucked, stretched, it transforms into rich rhythms, spatial acoustics, sustained harmonics, hypnotic morphing pads and profound basslines.
The outcome is a granular journey of complex delicacy, fragmented and yet fluid.
Mastered by Magnus Birgersson at Studio Jupiter, Göteborg, Sweden.
Artwork by Vincent Villuis with photograms by Rodolpe Bessey.

2)Bam (Album Edit)

It's definitely been put on my wishlist. Just can't afford to get any new music right now unfortunately.
The samples were great as well, as if I needed further convincing. ^_^
