Detour EP is a perfect example of Aerodrömme's blend of Progressive and Techno. The title track Detour is the more techie of the two starting off with tweaked out percussive elements, solid grooves and a mean bass line. Staying on the darker side throughout, the track peaks with a full psychedelic breakdown that definitely makes this track a perfect peak time monster. The "B" side is a much more lush Progressive bit "Youth Without Youth". The grooves are still very techno, but the bass and synth elements here speak Progressive. Its got the tempo and drive that makes it a great peak time track, yet also has the beautiful elements that make it an excellent morning track as well.
