Hey guys, I've been wanting to start mixing some psy for a long time now and have finally decided to take the plunge.

I was hoping you guys could recommend me some good equipment (all digital). I don't really have a price limit, but I don't want to be spending TOO much.

Thanks guys!

i would highly recomend to get pioneer or xone products and nothing else
thats whats going on in psy floors anywayz , as well pritty good stuff
i would get the DJM 800 or 600 or 500
players can be 100 , 400 , 1000
or xone mixer but then take the pioneer 100's as player otherwise you have no effects at all on the setup!

or

laptop , mixing program , and midi controler
on this area i think traktor with full final scratch setup , ableton live with the new dedicated controler or maybe that new Decadance if you gonna be extremly creative!          www.sattelbattle.com

I still have CDJ's 100 and a Vestax mixer but its all about Laptop DJing for me....

this is what i got:

http://www.vestax.com/v/info/newsevent/detail.php?id=42

it has an embedded audio interface so all u need is this device, a lappie and headphones!
Very easy to travel with, great adjustable jogs and knobs, EQ is great!! and of course the main advantage of having all the music u can imagine with you all the time...

The Serato Itch soft that comes a long with it is fucking GREAT! very easy and straight forward

VERY HAPPY!

Cheers           "....or is it???"

If you want to go digital but still keep the analog feel you should check out the EVO5 mixer.. Built in firewire soundcard, full midi and also traktor scratch certified that means you dont need the audio8 card to run the software.

it also runt very smooth with ableton and it comes loaded with midi setups ready to run

have a look at the spec.
