Hi, this may be a little redundant but I'd like some advice regarding my CPU. bassically long story short ive had some trouble with my cpu in the past (had it replaced once before) but in cubase it shows im using very little processing power the majority of the time however cubase freezes up fairly easily...should i invest in a new notebook or does anyone know if this is a typical problem?? thanks for the help...

how much are you chargin the cpu?
i mean in quantity and weight of plugins ...
cauz a P2.4 with 533 fsb bus, i figure it must have a 845 chipset (or less) and single channel ddr, that should die with less than 3 vanguards

You can test your memory with this free application:

Like that at least you know it isn't a bad memory issue.
