Advantages between using cubase sx 3 instead of sx 2?

I think the cubase sx 2, is more cpu friendly, cubase sx 3 has something better then cubase sx 2 ? in use small use they look the same, but the 3 looks more modern...

Sx2 can and will corrupt cpr files, sx3 doesnt.
Waste of energy to spend a week on a track and then BRRRRR sx2 decides its time for something weird to happen, and cpr gets unloadable
