To whom it may concern...
I am working for a year now with fruityloops, now I composed some nice tunes but I feel like I'm stuck somewhere between the amateur-proffesional level ... fruityloops 2.72 Keygenerators (used for CRACKING the software) do not work... therefore I can only save my work in fruityloops 1.54 which is lousy, if anyone can send me a new regcode for Fruityloops2.7.2 I will greatly appreciate it, and more important, Is someone from the "elite staff" willing to tutor me for a short period? (Yuli?? Perhaps... )

Using cracked software is no better than buying fake music cd's.
No professional would ever help you with your music, since they suffer from the same kind of ripoff themselves.

Using Cracked software is done by everyone nowadays, you cant own a PC, and actually pay for all the software you need, just for the record := OFFICE2000, Photoshop, Delphi, Fruityloops, etc = are worth a bit more than 5,000$ ... suckers like you will agree to work in a pizzaplace for over a year in order to "earn" things that can be shared.
I agree that pirating is bad, especially for developers as much as buying fake cd's is bad for musicians, but lets put it this way - it's just one of the things that proove how Well balanced our life is. |

If you'd decide one day you wanna learn how to do GFX, but not proffesionaly, only for fun...
You wanna tell me you'll buy Photoshop / 3DStudio or other graphic software ??? I bet you wont, now, if I'd go and "adapt" your thoughts, I wouldn't buy fruityloops... now, who'll earn from a play like that? I promise you this - No one would, the same goes for musicians.

I'll give you an example regarding graphics, since I know the ones who distribute it in Israel personally.
it goes like this. if you do commercial work, either as a company or as a freelancer, you have to buy everything.
although no one will take the time to go after freelancers and usually only companies are in this risk.
I had a long talk with a guy called Gil. he's the manager of the company GPM who used to distribute 3D Studio MAX to israel.
we agreed that the only reason that MAX has became so popular is because of the way it was pirated. every kid had access to it thru the internet.. lets say that from israel 300 ppl leeched it.
approx 100 of them spent more time on it. 30 of them have became very professional. which means that now the market have 30 pro animators. once they'll step into companies, they'll demand to use max and also start up companies will prefer to use and purchase max because many ppl know it professionaly.
that's the way it was in Israel and also in the rest of the world. which proves that piracy has built it's popularity. :)
anyhow, the buttom line is that using pirated software for your own private uses is accepted as long as you don't make a commercial use out of it. and this is accepted by the companies who try to fight pirating. (ie, the company i mentioned above.)
ppl like me and others who enjoy composing music for fun realy have no reason to spend so much money for it.
I do know some artists who didn't buy any piece of software and this is bad. well perhaps they have no money because their albums are being too pirated.. but that leads us to a dead end circle. :) :) :)

I'd rather use the money for gear and bills ..then get a cracked version to play with it to see if i like it..i am glad there is pirated stufff out there for the reason i would have spent alot of money on programs i can't take back after you open the box.get the cracked version,learn it...buy it...pros and cons...
and as an artist ...whatever it takes to get the grooves to make people dance! |

Boris raised a serious moral issue- he did that politely, and if you think you have something to say to him- do it properly, and back what you think/believe with an explanation. I suggest we all check with ourselves what we write before hitting the post key. This community will be a much better place if we do so.

It's everyone's right to say what they want- it's also my right as the person running this community and working very hard for it to exist to say what kind of a community it will be. And it will be a community where ppl respect each other. Forum guidelines will be up soon (right shivas?).
