Hello.

Requesting a little advice on what kind of routing chains can i use to achieve interesting effects/sound character.

I've been playing with delays n filters, also pitch bend after delay and sum others.

I am experimenting many posibilities but also would like to know your favorite combos.

Cheers.

i have a synth panned to the L45 then out to a group send and say R35 on a reverb A. out to a anothwr group send panned say R25 using Filter bank 2 say a fm Distortion. all of these channels have been treated with Sonaklsis Stero tools to create depth and a 3d image, M/s decoders and narrow panned settings. the source has to be good tho 2.

experiment with different pans and volume,fx

What outboard EQ strip was that?

Nice to see monitors on proper stands as well.

Hey Jizy... nice comments over there... can you elaborate on the panning part of the process?

Why do you pan one 45 and the other one 35 then 25, is there a theory behind this? I will do exahustive experimentation anyways but if you don't mind explaining a little it would be nice too.

I watched those videos before, i'll do it again tonight then let you know if i come with any more ideas / questions.

As always, thank you for taking the time.

you use cubase? say i got sylenth1 panned at L25 out to a group send reverb at R50 and another send to filterbank 2 at R65. each channel has sonaklsis stereo tools with M/s decoder and narrowed this a technique i experimented with a week ago, it works great, especially in headphones no need to use detune on the synth just an Arp, lfo ,maybe phaser-but with the lfos turned off - find a freqency that is in tune with your bassline , and good use of the cutoff.

and there you have it the illusion of out of speaker experience, watch for anti-phase corrilation tho

the theroy is that you are placing sounds in there own space within the spectrum making them sit, panning iz one way as iz eq.

u probably already knew that
