hello, all.
I am running Logic pro7, and I want some audio sample, relatively short sample, fit into my track. I tried adjust sample's tempo on audio edit, but it gives tempo just to far from my track,hum... so i have never suceeded to come up with tempo close to my track. Please help me? thanks Tell me what you listen, and I'll tell you what you are.

Load into Sonar, press CTRL-L and it is stretched and synced. (It becomes an acid loop).

Heres a little shortcut in logic for what ur doing...
in the arrange window at the top create a 4 beat loop.... place the sample at the beggining of the area.. now highlight the sample and press t, dont doublle click it just select and press t... it will ask u to create tempo globally or another option say globally.. this will make the entire bmp of ur track to change to match the sample... make a note of this bpm, down the the decimals and then undo... so ur arrange goes back to whatever bpm it was originally.... now in audio editer use time and pitch machine and feed in the bpm of the sample and the bpm of ur track, press process and voila....
this explanation is off the top of my head, but should work fine... happy timestretching..
