Exactly..he did few sets in Samothraki.D.F....dunno if were 4 though!
I f I am right there is another release.."Journey to the sun", dont know the label-If anyone has more info plz...

Yes, his performances at Samothraki was great. I actually have 3 albums by this guy. I think the two first albums are released on the Instinct Ambient label, but my collection is at home (I'm at work now..) I think the Essence album is the best. It is a limited edition release, so it's probably hard to get. I ordered from the Interchill site, but I think they are out of stock.. I wrote a review of it at:

well, he did three at samothraki. one unofficially - when i couldn`t go on anymore after nearly 5 hours. one of the chilled dj`s was too high on the dancefloor and di`nt make it to the chill space. Serioulsy talented musician and supreme chiller... |

I met Adham in Samothraki after his wonderful set with Ishq and bought Essence from himself. Very special cd with stunning opening track, where Kinnie Starr's amazing singing lifts his 'Butterfly Dawn' track 'Somptin Hapnin' to a unbelievable heights. True summer music anytime of the year. He's very nice and happy guy also. |

He's with Interchill Records and there's some info about him as well as Ekko on their site www.interchill.com
I sat and enjoyed his music for several hours at a small fesitival here in Ontario, very beautiful indeed. |

Adham Shaikh and Tim Floyd - "Drift" is one of the msot beautiful ambient records released in the last 10 years IMHO.
Adham is humble, friendly, and exceptionally talented. I highly recommend picking up any work you can find of his. The Ekko album and the remix album are essential, as well as the aforementioned "Drift".

drift is the most sublime and beautiful cd!
i nap to it...very emotive and spacy.
he has other tracks on interchill, instinct ambient, and more.... all of them created with much intent obviously.
