I have the V6 ( the first version), and I've heard the P11 a few times - I think Adam is the way to go in this choice group.

ok thx a bunch...
I have been told the same by a friend & salesman. It just seems as if the high end on the v6 mkII is more crisp

I have the KRKv8 series2. They sound great, BUT for the same price I would have gotten a Dynaudio bm5a for the same price ($499 each), but didnt have access to dynaudios at the time.
Luv the v8s though. I never heard the adam p11-a so it hard to compare. Just some info from a KRK user here.
Good luck!
Try to listen to them if you can. Put some well mastered CDs that you KNOW are good reference - psytrance and non psytrance. A good track to listen to IMHO is track number one of the new alan parsons cd - valid path. Its done by three people I respect a LOT. David Gilmor, from Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, one of the best ears of the planet heheh, and Simon Postford. Killer combo!
