The A7 sounds a bit thin on the lows and lacks the crystal clear midrange of the P series, but the accuracy in the trebles is a league beyond anything Dynaudio and Genelec have. Despite people complaining about bass accuracy, let the reviews on the net talk for themselves. There is no speaker cheaper than the A7 to give you that accuracy. 99% of the people who compared the BM5as to the A7 side by side think the A7s are a better solution for monitoring purposes, by far.
Many prefer the A7s over the BM6a, but those are usually people that either have a seperate sub unit (btw, Adam A7s and the Adam Sub8 subwoofer combined are cheaper than BM6as and offer much better lows, going under 30Hz) or people that don't work on bassy mixes.
Congratulations on the buy, it's the best deal out there. Don't trust the music shop's (Adam importers in IL) speaker arrival date, they're kinda assholes in that way .
