So im going to expand really soon and for now my target is the Adam A7's which i would like to get.
Does anyone has things to say about those ones from his personal experience?
I would love to read lots of comments and suggestions for maybe checking other ones as well.
thanks
Misha

I compared recently to some bm5a's and found the bass to be very coloured. |

i can really recommend ADAM S-Series if u got the money, the Dynaudio sounds awfully coloured compared to them (well compared to most adam models yes). ADAM is very precise and a good choice imo. The A7 is a little coloured at the bass also, but if you go for P11a or higher its getting more precise.
Just got mine S2A some days ago (price around 2900$ for a set), and man my old mixes sound shit on them, but real well produced music like astrix sounds so good on them. It's so much easier to mix now that the errors are so much more obvious.
I was almost to buy dynaudio wich i thought was very nice until i heard adam. Anyhow its a matter of taste, some people swear to the dynaudio, i just think they sound coloured (bm5a, bm6a)
A7 is the best choice in its price range i think, but if you can afford better, then go for it.

In which way? What did you find to be better sound?
I must say that the budget i have here is after all possible squeezes i could do, so meanwhile i cant take S2A and those super monitors. I wont get those now, maybe in the future who knows.
I really liked the tweeters of the A7, they give really awesome sound. But still i have few more tests to make with them before i finally choose em.

Sorry, I found the A7's bass to be coloured. In particular on one track that I've heard on alot of different (indoor and outdoor) soundsystems. The BM5A's sounded right.
YMMV |

I think even though the A7 is a bit coloured on the bass they are still not as coloured as the dynaudio. Its a matter of taste and what you know - if i listened all my music one one set monitors, and know them really good, then chances are that they are the best ones for me compared to similar models. at least until i get used to them.
I really like the sound of A7, and yes the ART tweeter is the shit, def.!
Quality vs. price is A7's best feauture. its incredible cheap, and seems to be a really good product. I dont own them, but i listened much to them and other monitors. Good luck whatever you choose!

i got the dynaaudio bm6a and they're killer everythings on point... my only complaint is that i wish they were a tad louder.. but thats just me... i like loud speakers but when mixing these are the shit u don't need really loud speakers to mix beacuse mixing is done on a reasonable volume if u do get em and ur like me get some other whatever speakers just so u can crank wen ur done plus also to chek ur mix on others sources u dig!!!
u definitly wanna take care of the dyno's they are expensive... so don't go blasting them like its all good..
i'll tell u this much dyna definitly have way better imaging and low's than the adams in my opinion get em u won't regret it... |

Hey Misha,
I've got the BM6A too & am very happy with them..If i had to go for another set of monitors to judge my mixes on i would definitely go for A7's, I've heard a lot of praise about them..
