thanks, it's a very nice compliment, i'm happy to have an interesting style ,unfortunately a lot of artist sound the same something i don't want to happen to me.
as for the kick it really depends on the ambiance you look for the track i love both loud powerfull kick and medium level floating kick.
my gear is:
*P4 2mhz 768 DDr ram
-HDD 1-SCSI 18 mb(System)
-HDD 2-IDE 120 MB(Music + sample library)
*Sound card:Creamware's luna II Powersampler+(8 in/out extension).
*monitors:Pair of beringer's Truth B2031.
*Hard synth:Novation's Nova II,Emu's XL-1 Module.
*mixer:soundcraft's spirit M8
*Few VSTi's
