No their not, they just absorb the mids according to their specs, your better off buying some rockwool and then adding a wooden frame around it. Works better on a broader spectrum

I suspect that this is nothing more than regular egg-crate packing, which has limited acoustic application. If you're going to spend any money, I would suggest buying something more worthwhile, like realtraps (very expensive), or readytraps (clone), or even just build your own with fiberglass insulation.

+1 dont waist your money on this foam. rookwool traps are the cheapest way to go.

I was dazzled how easy it is to make effective basstraps. Seriously, dont bother buying, it will cost atleast 4x the price of DIY.
