Hi there. I am deeply sorry to open another thread on plugins, but i really wanna know what plugins you are using that can create various psytrance fx. Lets skip things like filters, distortions, reverbs and delays though, and focus on the real shit that totally destroys and rearranges things in musical way for complete brain meltdown: stutters, freezers, warpers, buffer manglers, crazy sequencers, grain dissolvers etc.

To better describe what I want I'll start with some of what I found.

1. dBlue Glitch - golden classic, totally overused, but nevertheless due to great talent of its developers this thing still can bring a big smile on your face when used creatively. Very controllable and musical. Free. (Thing is here it is buggy, when I insert it, it loads GUI properly only in 50% of occasions. This bug actually made me open this topic.)

2. Audio Damage Replicant - dope. My 100% fav that I use in every project. Basically it is repeater with random modifiers which makes it sound never the same. Literary. $50.

3. Izotope Stutter Edit - looks like a powerful, capable and expensive plugin. Can do lots of things like stutter, delay, quantize, buffer mangling and other stuff. Effects can be saved to presets and preset selection is routed to midi keys, so actually play effects with keyboard. Cool.

4. Sound Bytes Turnado - again a shell for various effect algorithms totaling to 24 items. Idea is ok, but gui is a bit messed and it didnt go well there. Maybe I should give it another try.

5. Xoxos Muchacho (free) - "Probability-driven synced repeater, a.k.a. "stutter" effect" - that is what website says. Not sure how it works but i use it from time to time to create far random sounds with delay and reverb to fill the arrengements. http://www.xoxos.net/vst/muchacho.zip

6. DFX Buffer Override - chops a part of incoming audio and repeats it. You control how fast the audio is chopped and speed if its repeating in XY display style. Has 2 lfos, dry/wet. Nice free thingy.

Please add your findings so we can create proper stoned effects library.

-Manual audio editing in Cubase - most of time. Maybe it's boring and longer way but i really like surgical audio editing

-Izotope Stutter Edit - is great plugin with so many already great presets. A lot of fun with playing it live. But is very expensive

-dBlue Glitch - from time to time becuase most of fx's i get in audio editing

-Sound Bytes Turnado - i like to play live acts with this toy. But i don't feel it @home

-DFX Buffer Override - i havent used this plugin for over a year. i used a lot before
