Hey everyone i was wondering if there are any benefits at all with acidized wav-files.
I myself find it pretty darn stupid with acidized sample cds, they are most of the time ****** up and they have a faulty input bpm and bar system.
Now what makes all the Sample Companies think that acidizing all their cds is a good thing?
p.s if there is a magic unacidizing function hidden in wavelab or cubase, please share d.s
Enlighten me.

There is in Cubase, i just forgot how to do it since i encountered acidized ones long time ago, but i am sure a manual can help, or even a help topic, or other users  if i find it, i'll let you know

Ive searched in the cubase manual, it only states facts about acid and its benefits. I assume they thought it would be a good thing not to state not so good things as the manual would be a few hundred pages longer.

I would settle for regular plain old WAV files actually, they are innocent yet u punish them 8]

I think it was inside the sample editor within cubase, that you could turn off "musical" option, i think that's what it's called in there. But your definite bet is to look inside the sample editor window (you know when you double click the sample in sequencer main window)

Yep i found it, that is pretty funny.
Youve been cursing everytime you see ACID 4/4 in the sample info because they are hard to work with imo.
With a simple click, its gone haha
I wonder why that "simple click" isnt in the sx3 manual.
