I just got this comp and I had to almost max out the gain to match the other track... Has anyone encounter this problem?

It sounds like the levels are a tad low on the CD

Actually it would be very interesting to know who is respobsible of the mastering for the Acidance 's releases. Personally i've never seen anybody credited for it on their cds.

the volume is low cause your supposed to hear the screaming of the children and women, not just the kick.

lol

That could be coherent, i remember he did the mastering of 148 (first Nabi release) & there were several people complaining about the mastering's quality.
Btw the mastering Nabi guy has changed since, i think it's Triptych.

I might be wrong, but wasnt CTRL ALT DEL mastered by Xeno? And other CDs as well where the mastering was just standard. Is it inconsistency in his work or equipment glitches? Who knows, but the listener loses here the most.

if the cd is not mastered as hot as the others, it doesn`t mean it is mastered badly, i`ve heard other cds mastered by xenomorph and i don`t see any problem... will listen to this and write again..

In my experience, extreme volume IS usually the sign of a poorly mastered cd. I haven't heard this one and doubt I ever will so I can't comment, but loud volume rarely equals good mastering.           New Album: Jikkenteki - Flights Of Infinity
