I posted a topic yesterday about acid stabs. It seems to have disapered :/
I'm really tired of using acid stabs from sample cd's but every time I try to make my own, they never seem to get as crisp and punchy as the ones fund on the sample cd's.. anybody care to explain how to make some great sounding acid stabs?

i guess that those nice stabs are hardware created (TB303, Virus etc.)
until now i never found a softsynth with such a nice crispy sound 
and yes, tips/hints are very very appreciated  |

Try sum compression with a attack like 10-15 and fast release for punch, crisp use eq's such as s-series urs

Access virus is a digital synth... iirc there is a VST version of it which is identical!
Propellerheads made a software 303 copy which sounds very good, but I don't know if it's available anymore. |
