Acid Pro 3.0 (Change of BPM of Sample)

Hi...
To anyone who can help me it would be great.
I have some samples in .wav format
I have a stand alone Sampler (Roland SP808)
but since I have it on the computer I dont want to record it on to the sampler change the pitch/bpm and get it back into the comp because Im loosing generation.
Is there a way to do it in Acid... I tried it works.. but when saving it is my problem.
I export to a .wav file and then after I close Acid and open the .wav file which I adjusted the bpm of... it says "this data chunk contains no data"
I am perplexed as to what to do... Any help would be much apreciated... Thanks

for this job exactly there is a proggie called recycle.
you give it a sample, then slice it, and then adjust the tempo - pitch independantly.
it works great with samplers and can send/receive loops from a sampler.
of course you can export files to wav/aiff or other samplers formats.

afaik in acid you don't have to save the changed sample into another wav, because anyway the quality is degraded, and acid is exactly for people who don't want to mess with timestretching - it does it automatically. and writes the details about how much to pitchshift/timestretch inside the audio track data.

U can also edit Acid Propeties in Sound Forge.
This is much easier
