well again u r talking about trip-hop.
i was talking about something called acid-jazz.
read what i wrote above, and see it again.
acid jazz was something of a joke- gilles peterson invented the frase ,and yes he made a label called ACID JAZZ. now if u look real good at the post i wrote above u would see that most of the music there was out on that label. in cluding the brand new heavies.
u gave some very nice things on that list (cliford gilberto had a very nice album in ninjatune), but i am not talking about what u think is jazzy just gave some CLASSIC examples of acid jazz.
BTW if u like cliford gilberto try a new album by a guy who`s called DOMU(it will knock u out). |
