The thing is, there's not only less knobs, but they brought down some characteristics aswell...

Btw, I'm going receive a Virus TI Desktop tommorow (hopefully), I heard you can use it as a good soundcard, does this mean I can sell mine (M-Audio u46mk2) as I won't need it anymore for music production ?

The snow is a bit expensive ..... its definatly less hands on that the older tis and it has half the dsp... so half the dsp, less than half the knobs.... I therefore expect to pay a maximum of half the deskop price.... but its far from being the case... you can get the desktop new for 1100 pounds but the snow cost 750... for this price you get a mint condition second hand ti desktop..... so unless the protability is essential... I don't see it as a good deal.

the blofeld on the other hand not only is incredible in term of sound. And it pretty much all the waldorf ever created in one little synth. even though its got only one stereo out. its a beast !!!
