Wow, just in time! I was gonna pick up a TI.

I am gonna guess the price will be under $800 (USD) or so. I think The blofeld is in that range.

Do I smell competition between the two companies??

Interesting... yeah, anyone that has opened up their TI desktop to do the rear plug rotation for rackmounting has seen how small the actual circuitry of the TI is... it was actually kind of disappointing...

True, but the knobs are laid out in such a lovely spaced out way.

Snow doesn't have enough twiddly bits for me

They mention in the flash 'for the price of a scooter'

Wonder what they consider fair price for a scooter?

That is $1600 USD. I don't believe that for a second!

For $400 more you can a brand new TI Desktop with A LOT more outboard controls.

At $1600 USD, this won't be competing with the Waldorf Blofeld.

Another thing to keep in mind is this:
The TI Snow is just a smaller sized TI Desktop.

The Blofeld is a combination of 2 synths... so it is offering something "new"

prices are not the same between Europe/Usa, look at cubase 4 prices : 800$ in USA, and 800€ in eur which is not 800$ converted in eur
