Access Virus C - problem ?

has this it ever happened to you ?
After playing with virus for too long (3-4 hours) suddenly all its settings (env,amp,filtering,filters,oscilators,lfos etc) get screwed up and change to a random position. I then have to reset (turn-off and turn-on) and find the preset again.
Another prob (maybe this had something to do with the particular computer/card/synth setup) was that after 30 minutes or something, a strange high frequency noise (at around 18khz) which was not audible, but clearly visible through spectrum analyzers and peak level meters, was being added tp the analog outs of the synth. Then we had to reset and re-record the clear sound without the noise.
any ideas ?

hi
I think it can caused by two things , one is midi of your virus , second sequencer setup .
try to connect the virus to audio and see if you still have this problem or its something whith your midi setup |

Hi,
Never had this problem with my Virus and the longest I've been using her is for 20+ hours non stop (minus coffee & cigarette breaks) and no problems.
Could be a screw-up with midi getting sent to the Virus?
Whats the spec of your sequncer / soundacrd?

hy there ... i uhave the same problem i have a few weeks ago ... this is only a mather of configuration .. go to ~( if its logic audio) .. go to options . song settings . midi options .. and then u need to disable a few stuff depending of what u use from your midi options .. and try to use only .. the midi out from your pc to the midi in from your virux ..
if the problem .. keep doing this ... resintall your software .. might be a bad instalation or a bug ..  =
