I like the way you assume we keep the real shit to ourselfs.

Would it hurt you to be humble once in a while?

Sorry but with your manners its not going to help you get the information you want.

I learned a lot in college, but I did put a lot of work in. Spent a lot of time in the studios tweaking synths, reading synth manuals in my free time and also got a job as a sound technician in Cambridge's Junction venue...got a lot of hands on practise the 3 years I worked there.
The other thing about uni is that you will meet like minded people. I met Vigi there (released breakbeat records together) and generaly meet someone who knows someone who knows some label boss...you get the idea.

But, you can learn things on your own, you just need to manage your self well. Music production magazines and the internet, are the best library.
College helps a lot, but you don't HAVE to spend 3 years there to make a good tune.

I would definitely do it again, student years are a lot of fun

its just that you get told to dothis to do that, like example, hi pass @ 40hz others say 50hz, also get told to cut 250 hz 800 hz, then another will say boost at 250 hz, same with compressors. there is only one real anwser,, to much confusion
