Nice post shahar, I do fully agree with you. The top10 section radiates bad karma, as well as it's all too often just a hangout for those mentioned; traders and artists promoting their own "killah" tracks.

close the Unidentified section , ppl use it to find out names of new trax and than search to download it.
close the CD Review section, ppl show off with albums they download before they got released.
close the Promotional sectio, ppl see which trax are upcoming to rls and try to find them in the net.
ofcourse im cynical. but still..

For my opinion this is fun and intresting to post top 10 but this is make some problems with all the traders so i say give only for the artists and the labels to post !!!!

Freedom is always the best way for sure but if people are using this section as platform for trading i think it should be closed.
As my gradmom used to say: "We cant have all, when we chose the left, we lose the right"....
Sorry my english, I mean we will lose the right of freedom to write, read and comment but its cool coz for sure it will f*** the traders. NO TRADING ALLOWED!!! |

This should become a military forum.

Its not like people are trading music through isratrance.
If i hear new unreleased tracks why can't I share my experience thru words to other trance lovers?

Please chill and read my explanation a couple of pages back. The fact that we don't really want a top ten section here (for reasons I clearly explained) doesn't have anything to do with freedom or militarism.
It also doesn't have to do with hunger for power, it is you who abuses power in this aggressive post of yours, and without even bothering to read our explanations. Not nice.

Wow it's been a full-on read this past 9 pages,
I wanted to sort of try and quote a few peoples posts.
Yuli, ShivaS, And the last one from Shahar (Page 7).
BUT...maybe it's a good idea if people go back and read them
The reason for that is to try and show a way of saying what you think in a proper way. So many posts here are just so silly and got no base not to talk about the offensive ones which i don't want to even go to...
Regarding the issue, CLOSE THE SECTION !
ShivaS was getting a lot of crap from users on the first few pages and really i agree with Yuli on that one.
Do your thing and don't take any shit from stupied posts.
If this community was smaller maybe you could make bring some sence into people and try and sort the Top 10 section out but i think being realistic there is no way you could change it unless it's shut down.
As for leaving it only for labels , Djs, Producers i think you shouldn't to that either.
Most of the time they try and Advertise whats going on in their label, new releases and stuff.
I think it's boaring and it's shouldn't be a place of marketing... Maybe I'm wrong but i think it shouldn't anyway...
You guys are not working for us users and the last time i checked i didn't need to pay anything to use this great forum.
So please keep the good work that you are doing and i wish we could all keep on enjoying spending our time here in a productive way instead of a foolish/silly one.

I think the best solution is to divide the Top 10 Section into two parts.
One for artists and labels and others for users...
Its so simple as that =) |

it makes it much less interesting and attractive, imo. i went to that forum to see what _normal users posted - what they liked and which tunes and albums are worth checking out. now most of the stuff artists and labels post is their own stuff and maybe their friends'. little to do with what's actually good music, more to do with how to make a buck.

Shahar to be honest i did not read your previous post but now i have.
i did not mean to be RUDE but maybe it came out that way.
i still oppose the closing of the top ten section.
i don't think i will reduce trading.
i have used it many a time and love putting my tops along with reacting to others tops.
i hope yall reconsider this very 'closed minded' suggestion as it is the easiest way to end the controversy.
for those of us that like to share our taste with other it is a serious loss.
i hope yall come up with a soln.
