no , of course i did not mean it to be like a mtv or djmag poll , u missed my point completely .. bottom line , imho , it would have been better had there been slightly more participation from people on here , Im now interested to see how many votes the `winners`get .. again , not meant ina mtv way at all , but itd be nice to hear what people are digging `in this days` , coz theres nice cross section of die hard fans here , hard , melodic , prog .. whatever , don`t you think ?

maybe if there wasnt so many "favourite track/album/artist/tune of the day,tune of the night,good afternoon tracks,tea time artists etc etc" topics every now and then,the participation would be bigger.

i dont know i think there wasnt one year when people hadnt been bitching about quality, i gues 2008 just normal.
we had
pefect stranger,talpa, kino oko,and many more that i havnt herd of. |

but there have been better years.
Apart form OOOD, Ott, Ekoplex, talpa and Anakoluth there wasnt too much inovation this year.
I think 2007 was better.
Hope 2009 is great

I agree, we've had better years... I'd only disagree that the notion that there has been barely anything worth mentioning.

Very true.
And yes, the main reason is just to have fun and see other people's opinions.
No big deal. You shoudn't expect so much about it.
Just being myself Detox. I'm sure a3k feels the same way.

i think it only makes sense that artist/label will vote for themselves.. cant see why anyone will let others to be better. offcourse one should pull his head out of his ass if the music aint really that good..
but believe in yourself is nothing bad.
i meen , for example many many people choose iboga for the best label , cant see any reason if its owner voted for him to think other..
anyhow thanx for the poll isra and detox , after the lost of the greatest top10 section its the place to get recomends from other people... wish more dj's would participate
