pro tools is able to music production creation ?
It has midi/piano roll for vst's like albino and stuff pro tools m-powered for m-audio interfaces?

midi in pro tools sucks big time..routing and audio cutting etc is unbeatable..but dont use it for synth/midi creations...
dont know what happens in pro tools 8, but there will even be cubase 5 in the beginning of next year..so..i wouldnt go for it...just sold my m-box actualy..

Midi in Pro Tools has been massively revamped in the new version (PT8) which is due to be released any time now.
You have a midi /piano window now, and numerous other goodies, making Pro Tools more attractive then previously...
You can only use RTAS plugins in Pro Tools as far as I know!
As far as composition is concerned I tend to use FL Studio 8, but as far as mixing and mastering are concerned Pro Tools rules for me.
Note that for full music production capability you will need Digidesigns' music production toolkit.

Good thing..you could always youse vst to rtas converter by fxpansion..and if protools 8 really gos up in case of midi..like other ones..no other seuencer could beat it..
just the hardware is so expensive and actualy the le version is pretty limited...and all that..better to get nuendo and a decent euphonix system...imho

The Le version has now more tracks and busses and all in all a lot more than it used to. Check out digi's webpage for news on PT8 LE.
For sure the hardware and also music toolkit are quite expensive.
Make sure it suits your workflow before you buy, if at all possible...
