Back again in this flabbergasting forum (lol) to deal a little bit with the Chill Out Scene here in France..

I felt in love with Chill Moods about 2 years ago.. It was like a need as i couldn't listen to "fast" floor-fillers all the day long any more !

Now I think I own more Chill records than Psytrance hé hé

And in the whole global Chill Universe, french musicians contributed a lot in my Love for Psychedelic Chill-Out..

I'm talking about Florian Sériot aka Toires, the Morrocan DAT Traveller, i'm talking about the honnestly impressive Ultimae Team (if you don't have the 3 Fahrenheit Project well run as fast as you can to your record dealer and catch them all !!)...

I'm also talking (of course) about Total Eclipse with their Anthologic Violent Rexalations and stuff like "Nakano Ghost"

And what about Jaia, Asura, the Talamasca's twisted "Brain Activity", Aes Dana, Pier Cloud, the many Spontanous Chill Project from our french "stars" (lol) Christoff Drouillet, Fred Holyszewski, and ALL the ones I forget to mention here...

Come On Guys, Let me Fly Away Again And Again ! You Messengers of Morpheus, when by the week I lie alone in the Bed, having Positive Thoughts before falling asleep..

You are all Essentials !

Peace

I might be wrong but, chill-out music is close to what was called ambient no ?
When I listen to it, it reminds me of some of the first freezone compilations...
Do you have names I should listen to, to have a better idea of this kind of music ?

Hey hey !

> Vanessa : You are not wrong, and there are even psy-artists that have released tracks on the mytical Free Zone compilations (like "Solar Quest" 4 exemple)..... Let's remind that those Free Zone have been compiled by Dj Morpheus, the belgian Hip-Trip-Hop genius...

So If U wanna have a better idea, try then the "Farenheit Project 1, 2 & 3" on Ultimae Records... and the Toires "Oued" & "Sanati" albums (there has been a special release of both albums grouped on Dakini Records). Also check out Module 01 compilation on 3D-Vision Relax.... and visit Ambient & Chill-Out section here on the forum.... nice fresh infos !!

> Ananda : Yep groOve is in the air !
