Yeeeeessss, this is the way to make the sound. Short reverb and you in the ping pong heaven. Thanks alot for this Djones!!!
I also got quite nice results with Massive with several sharp performer envelopes modulating the cutoff and oscillators amps, some dirty waveforms for oscs. But Ill stop pursuing this sounds with synthesis. Pitched toms are THE shit now
Thanks again and Im gone to play some ping pong now.

Thanks, Ive been using this alot. Its has too "simple" spectrum, pitched toms have that complex click and pop and wooden quality I was searching and I cannot get that from noise + BP technique.

It is really overused in minimal techno. I really like the sound, dont know why. There is probably one specific trick with that sound and I cant get it right.
That sound is not only made by a synth. You need to add effects to it too to get that result. A very short delay is added as well as some tight reverb too plus you need to spread out the sound too. Most of the time the best results are made when also taking care of adjusting EQ to the sound.

Grouch is amazing!
This guy really knows how to twist incredible Psychedelic sounds into one hell of a groovy package.
He always puts me down though, makes me feel my music is really NOTHING compared to what he makes
