So I just started using ableton live right now. how do you make the playhead go the beginning of the arrangement? |

adjust the primary hyperflange so that it's in line with the vertical adjustment bar AND the rotational axis. DO NOT activate the reverse osmosis barrier, whatever you do.
(seriously though, the program comes with tutorials) |

You just overwhelmed me all those terminologies. i tried clicking on the 1.1.1.1 of the overview and it tends to always play from there. is that what you are trying to say? |

Znox, it was a silly (not to say irritating) question, try not to post something like this again - this is something very easy to look up.
Well, here is the answer: you need to double-click the stop button. That's it.
I am just half a step ahead of you in learning Ableton, so I'll tell you what is the must: find Tom Cosm's blog and watch his videos. This guy is a real Santa Claus for all the Ableton kids. Then head for the Ableton thread here

And I agree with others here: you'll have to RTFM sooner or later. It's well written, actually. And it is included in the "Team AiR Edition" of Ableton too

DOUBLE CLICK??? Can't i just press return as i do on logic and protools. I hate using the mouse soo much -.- anyways thanks maine coon.
And yeah, i hate to read. i gave up smoking pot so i'm trying to do something contructive learning live. help me out okay guys
i saw tom cosm view's somewhere. it was pretty cool.

its the called the forum sickness, before using google, the (lousy) searchfunction, or the manual, spam the forum hehe...

You drag them to the upper right corner of the window and place them over the button that switches the view from arrangement to session. Then, when the view switched, you drop your clip into the channel you want.
