greetings and ting.
i'm trying to figure out how to connect my tc helicon voice live through a sound card by midi or S/PDIF so that i can use it to trigger ableton to loop and go to the next track whilst still using the vocal presets i've programmed that are going to the soundcard stereo via two large jacks. do i need a separate controller?

Unless you can make the TC output MIDI controller messages when you press the buttons on the front panel without changing vocal presets, you'll probably need a separate controller. If you only need a couple of controls the Behringer BCN44 might be good to look at - well cheap.
