just check out Tom Cosm ableton videos on youtube..and learn about warping correctly from the manual..
i`ve been to two different live seminars here in hamburg..and they just explain the basics and make promotion for different hardware they recommend like..
you can learn a lot of this through youtube..

hi mtz
i have ableton6 on my pc, and i use it regularly but only for performing, so i kinda know the basics. i liked the ask video , but most of that stuff alredy knew. i want to learn how to use it for production, audio stuff mostly. thanx for help. it really is true that everyone uses ableton in a different way, so thats really cool about this software..

ok..yer..i think its important to know all the shortcuts to work faster for production..you can get a list in the manual..and you can get the manual from download area of ableton website..just register and download..
and yep, very true..i like the way to start in session view..so import a kick, make bassline and percussion..then start with some sound..and when i feel good with it i would record it in arrangement view for further things..but i even like it to jam through an fx rack and record all i do with it..and then combine the best parts in arrangeview..there are quite a lot of ways like you said..hope that helps a bit..
