So I have got a NI Maschine MK2 and a Akai MPK49,
and Im trying to set up every button to a certain function.
But the knobs from the Maschine and the faders from the Akai Mpk49 seem to go together.. (Like the C14,15,16 etc)
So when I turn my knob on machine which is for EQ then my fader from Akai turns with it which is Effects and stuff..
Is there a way to separate these two ?? |

sounds like they simply use the same midi channel to receive messages, just use a different one instead
check global/midi and adjust accordingly....
for ableton choose in the menue where to send midi data to, where to receive from. the info box should be enogh of a help for that
give a shout if problem stays and you cant get around it.
  FUCK GENRES, LOVE MUSIC!!!!

On Ableton's MIDI Sync section in the settings,
- the "Track" button allows you to listen to MIDI coming from the device, to control your DAW;
- the "Sync" button means you want your DAW0s time to sync to the MIDI device, so the device controls the BPM's and start-stop of the track;
- the "Remote" button allows you to send MIDI from the DAW to device, so the DAW can control the device.
For your Akai MPK49, you can set the Track ann Remove button on -> if you move your encoders you'l see the knobs in Ableton move, and if you mode the same knobs in Ableton you'll see the encoder's leds on the MPK move.
