I read an earlier topic about an interesting way to get a nice kick build using kontakt modulators to multiply the speed on an extended note. I was wondering if theres an innovative way to do this in ableton. I thought perhaps simpler could do it or some other ableton plugin.           http://www.youtube.com/user/trawhi (tutorials)

yeah you can do it in sampler, just use the pitch envelope. in the kontakt tutorial he had to load up 4 pitch bends to get to +48 semitones of pitch bend, whereas the pitch envelope in sampler is up to 48 semitones

just draw in the extended note, play with the kick length in the sampler and make sure to set it to the sustained looping mode, and for the pitch envelope set its initial to 0, then the max to between 12-48 and set its attack to the amount of time the kick roll is supposed to be
