Ableton automation timing issue

Hey guys.
Dunno if you have experienced this problem.
When drawing automations the "sync" automation to grid is out of phase. Its like 1/16 of a bar out of phase so is really annoying.
Anyone of you experienced this?

automation can be unsyncro when using plugs that add latency maybe it s that? it s known bug introduced since 8 and piss everyone |

this shouldn't be the case because there's "under-the-hood" delay compensation programmed into the DAW, so as to compensate for this. (but used to be a big issue)
my question would be: does this still happen for you when rendering it down to audio (or freeze)? |

man, i've heard about this timing thing from various people but i either am too stupid to hear it or it has never happened to me on either live 8 or live 9

yeah they say they are working on it but all i see is push updates&bug fixes.
this has been a problem for years, its not an easy fix, and it will take several more years. more like re-write the entire pile of s***.
Bitwig has improved automation PDC but then you are missing out on other stuff |

man its ironic, Faxi and myself were just talking about this today!! it really is a issue they need to fix. for 10+ years now they havn't done anything about it :/
