Hi guys!!

I test the ableton 9 and looks great!
The biggest problem taht I have found is the problem to run 32 bits vsts on the 64 bits version.

The solution is here:

But I don´t like to install JBRIDGE...a third part software..

This is the only solution?
Tks

1. stay with 32bit. can be ok, unless you tend to use big orchestra libraries or ROMplers and need all the RAM you can get.
2. if Live allows you to install 32bit and 64bit versions side by side, then you can do that and run whatever vsts you are having issues with in the 64bit environment in the 32bit one. that means you would have to bounce some kind of scratch track, work against that in the 32bit environment creating the sound you want, and then bouncing that to audio. might be a workflow killer, but it's an option.
3. install jbridge

i just went through the same exercise in Cubase, as I jumped headlong into 64bit version and had issues with some plugins. ended up buying jbridge which definitely works better than the native Cubase bridge, though it's not without issues. ended up installing the 32 bit version too since some older projects were crashing the 64 bit version from the get go and the only workaround was to open them up in the 32bit one and unload some offending plugins.           https://soundcloud.com/dead-end-dance

Don't use ableton 64 bit. Use 32 bit.

There is no reason to use ableton 64 bit - you needlessly add instability and technical problems to your setup.

I had the same probleme under Cubase 7 64bit! Give jbridge a try. It is the only workaround with enough stability...!
If you find a better way please post it here.

Do not get attach with the past, instead jump to the present!

And most important dont be afraid of let things as they are in 32 bit realm, commit to the choices you made over those projects and move on. Create new things with a newer and better version of your DAW! Its easier than ever.

Ableton has a ton of new exciting devices to worry for some old software           http://soundcloud.com/portable-disaster-unit
