never got his music, it just sounds so 80's and cheaps to me, no harm meant to the artists, but I just don;t get it...

i find abakus' music to be really mood-dependent
sometimes, usually at dusk on a warm summer evening, it is amazing
other times, i can't wait to take it out of the stereo           Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

Personally, I like Abakus, and I think he's great!!! His stuff is beautiful and original.
It would be great to know when we shall hear from him again. Its been a while...

I think his stuff is brilliant and his album was my fave of 2004..

Then again stuff that others rave about - I just find dull & boring (Stress Assassins anyone??) But it would be a boring world if everyone liked the same stuff!

I'm not sure whats happening with LSD though as all the planned relases have been put back and then put on hold - I noticed Suns of Arqa ended up putting out their latest CD (planned for an LSD release) on their own label...

I hope LSD get themselves sorted out soon...

Abakus is not releasing with LSD anymore. Starting his own label. More deep techy trippy house stuff and glitchy techno. Might be doing the odd remix and things for labels but broadening musical horizons. I left Dragonfly/LSD about a year and half ago. Am living in Boulder, colorado doing a degree in physical therapy to work in medical massage and trauma work hopefully. Still writing and learning bansuri.
