Hi all you U.S.A Trans heads.

A few friends and me are planning a trip to your country in 2007. Our initial idea is to go to the Burning Man, and while we are there, we would like to visit a few cities or towns where we can expect a good trans scene.
Any recommendations as to which areas to visit.
I know this is way in advance, but we need to plan our trip carefully in order for me to get a visa.

Cheers and
sage wisdome to you all.

Could you bring Artifakt and Shift and Slug along with you please .

Seriously though, NYC, Asheville N.C, Cali

PS could you enlighten us about the procedures/pitfalls for South Africans getting US visas? It seems that no South Africans can play in the USA because of Visa issues.

Thanx for the advice and links so far.

As for visas ... Aaah man, it's so hard for our South Africans because of our dodgy past. U.S. being one of the hardest countries. LetterS from current employers, bank statements (with buckets full of cash), return flight tickets (before you even get your visa) and also booked accommodation for every day you are in the country. If you have family or friends in the country, it is slightly easier. All this is just the start and it changes every few months.

This is exactly the reason we are starting to plan our trip now. A total of three weeks in the U.S., including a few days at the Burning Man. Still a long time, but MAN am I looking forward to this trip.
