On the technology side, what kind of sequencer would give you the looping ability like that to play live and make it seamless?
basically,
how does he make stuff loop without having to set up his sequencer stuff etc. He just plays something, then it loops, then he plays the next thing, and it loops. I don't understand how he's doing it.
What is that footpedal he's using?

of corse the video is edited..Its like a resumeyou dont want the see the part that we went to get a coffee or something. .But you can record actualy if it is properly quantized and clocked with your midi controller.

^ XuN and Obelizk are talking about the first video, not the elevator music one.
  You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

HI all,
This can be done live, it doesnt have to be editied.
In Cubase you are restricted to the bar count, so no good imo.
In Ableton you are NOt restricted to bar count due to abletons ability to use loops of any length.
This can also be done in Kyma-X which i found a video for.

Sorry its a ram - Real Audio but very cool.
Most of the doodes doing this stuff use foot pedals to trigger different loops, turn them on and off etc, there are loads of videos of it being done on youtube, especially in Ableton live.
