I also remember something on a Ben Beiny release...
is it still on ?
I love his tracks on the "Hope" compilation. |

Really hope so...
Ben is working out in Mexico at the moment and has a lot on his plate. Spoke to him at the weekend and he is looking to return to the studio very soon. Once he gets material together I am sure we will be supporting him 
He has a couple of newish tracks on his blog, one of which is a free download:

I read an interview with Halogen - http://www.inspiralled.net/component/content/article/48-interview/113-interview
his saying - " I'm lined up to do a release on the Fluid Audio label and im trying out a neo-classical experimental aesthetic "
is it also planned to be released in 2010 ?

those samples are divine. the third track - autumn? - with the guitar is just heavenly. can't wait to hear the whole thing.
also had a good listen to the field rotation sample track from the new album too. another beautiful piece of music. i'm guess you are very excited about your releases this year... well you should be - it's a stellar lineup.
(i do hope tho, that field rotation hasn't forsaken the beats altogether. his mix of classical and beat-driven electronics is exquisite! either way, i'm sure i'll be more than satisfied)

Recent update from Fluid Audio:
"The Hessien project( Fluid Audio-005 ) is coming along nicely and we are just sorting the art work and should be ready to roll for middle May release at latest.
It will be a limited edition (250 copies) in special packaging containing four tracks from Hessien plus four remix tracks from Solo Andata, Jasper TX, Konntinent and Zelionople." |

Hi guys
Just a quick update to let you know I have fianlly kicked my lazy ass into gear and sorted out a new Fluid Audio web site. It still has some work needed but is better than the last one (I hope)

The site has an hour mix of upcoming tracks from various albums including tracks from Field Rotation, Hessien, Hummingbird and Emanuele Errante.
Next release (005) will be from a new artist called Hummingbird. It's an 11 track full album that sits neatly in between modern classical/electroacoustic structures delivered in bespoke letterpressed covers and inserts.
This means we have put the Hessien project (006) back by a few weeks or so which will now come out some time in June.
Then Field Rotations album (007: Acoustic Tales) will be launched sometime in the summer. The album is now completed and mastering has just been done by German experimental composer Nils Frahm.
Also worth checking/listening to are tracks from Christoph Berg project (008) and Emanuele Errante (009).
