Well, this might be off topic but it took place when I was driving to a TRANCE party so maybe this will be forgiven by the mods...

Ok, so...
Last friday I was invaited by a friend to a wedding after party (trance).
I left at about 11 pm more or less, and after 20 minutes I pickted four 14 years old kids (clubbers wannabe's/arsim) in a junction on the way.
One of them (I think he was the "leader" ) sat next to me and the other 3 sat at the back. Where my bag was....
I had 100 NIS (=20$+-) at my wallet and during the whole time I was thinking if they are gonna steal them.
During the ride, wich was somthing like 20-30 minuets, I heard noises from the back sit, but I thought I should trust people and not say anything like "BTW, dont touch my bag and wallet".
At the moment they got of the car I grabbed my bag, opened my wallet and suprise suprise! My money was gone.
I drove next to them and stopped, one of them asked if Im going more further, I replied "No, but did any of you guys might by any chance took a 100 NIS out of my bag?"
They said "No! We wouldnt do such a thing to such a nice guy who gave as a lift all this way!" and offered me to body search them (no thanks)...
I explained that its not nice to steal from the guy who give you a lift and Im not going to beat them or punish them in any way because Im not that kind of guy. They kept on giving my bullshit and dinaying they stole the money.
I pointed at a coin at the back seat and told them I wondered how the coin got there if they wasnt messing with my wallet.
After a few more convincing the kid who sat next to me bend over, picks up a rinkled 100 NIS bill and gives it to me.
I thanked him, told them to be good kids and then drove off to the party (wich was lousy BTW :-/ )           Its the vibe that matters.

Very interesting story, tells a lot about human behavior. I was surprised that they gave you the money back. I think that’s the positive side of the story.           "Love is a way of life"

Reminds me of a story myself.
Me and my friends (we were all 16-17 back then) were doing al-haesh (BBQ) one night and some 12-13 y/o arsim came and stole the wallet of one of the girls.
We could easily beat the crap out of them and take it back by force, but instead we waited about 4-5 hours, sharing with them our fire and food until we got it back.

I cant agree with you and it even annoys me to see that other ppl did agree with yew.. it should be more like "Dont ever leave your wallet in the backseat with strangers".. as somebody who went through lotsa hitchiking in his life I can tell you that the best rides are with "arsim".. after that dosim and arabs.. I can tell you about lotsa "arsim" who insisted to drive through other roads than they planned just for helping us...
and even if they weren't so kind..why the hell wont you help somebody who looks like an "ars" or "clubber"?
