A State of Trance Without Drugs

Since the ancient times, man has been inducing a state of trance either by himself on onto others. Lets take examples of techniques most frequently used...
Shamanic Practices, Astral Projection / OBE / OOBE, Meditation and in medical terminology, Hypnosis.
I believe that psytrance / goa trance is a medium when combined with a powerful immagination, can promote any state of trance....may it be Laya, Bompu, Gedo or Shojo....
End of the day, the use of narcotics is a social phenomenon generated and created by man to promote or should i say elevate immagination because his/her mind is not capable of doing the same....
what have you got to say about this? Please do not take this as a direct finger pointing post for people who use sunstances, it is only my opinion that i wanted to share 
now i would love to hear yours......

Man has, for thousands of year resorted to the use of plants and seeds, flowers, bugs, toads and any other thing he could find to alter his perception and commune with nature.

This I have to question because narcotics are any drug which cause sleep or stupor, used to deaded or dumb the senses, examples being Heroin, morphine or codine.
It is only the poorly educated US law enforcement agencies which refer to drugs such as LSD, exstascy, marijuhana or even cocaine as narcotics

Psychedelics are not considered narcotics..they're a window, you just need to figure out on your own how to climb out of it and walk around.

good music takes into trance...drugs & alcohol give u a buzz, that adds to the bass, try it...see for yourself...u will be able to hear the bass harder when you are under the influence, thats why people tend to fumble and fall when they are smashed...our bodies can bear only a certain amount of bass

For me if you can enjoy the music without taking drugs it's great,
if you can be induced into a Trance feeling without taking drugs it's incredible but i doubt that you can even arrive to half the feeling but anyway good on you.
but as for my experience it has always been Psytrance and Acid combination and always have a spiritual intention in my mind to go inside the music! These two elements combined with a natural envoirnment make something happen sometimes! It's very rare but when it does happen it's the best of best moments as u all know! It's this moment that i have been running after these last 6 years of my life or even more! Nowadays it's rare!

its a perfect combo....
jus like to add one bit......at times u feel the acid is built in you,and u dont need it to feel the music....the music releases the acid in your mind...but like i said not always....AT TIMES....

Burrows, Dali, Cobain, Morison, Isac Newton and so on <- explorers, discoverers of invisible equations in nature. Opiate abusers. Used astral projection catalysts.
Froyd < - wouldnt define the ego, alter and on, if he wasnt on coke, the ego drug.
McKenna, Castaneda, Escher and so on - again ones that saw invisible equations in nature. Psychedelic ppl.
One chemical concepted organizm as entity exists as a complex function that has a multidimensional graph. If you replace or add chemicals to the human neural hormon system the function of existance changes for a while.
Whatever you ate you see the one true universe but from a different frequency defined by function.

I think that the message behind this subculture is a very positive one. It's all about good vibes and positive energy. I think that all of us involved in this culture preach the HAPPINESS. It's unfair to associate only raves with drug abuse. Unfortunately there are drugs anywhere you go. Whether it is a rock concert, a Madonna concert the chances of you finding people doing drugs there are the same. In regulated places, like clubs, pubs and discotheques, people doing drugs do them in the loo or in their cars. At an outdoor party it's in the open.
A rave is a place where through active meditation and trance dance experience you can reach a state of being absolutely trouble free and happy. Without the drugs. It is a misconception that the drugs and the party go hand in hand. The purpose is to attain a sense of enlightenment and humility before all creation and to do this through dance and music. .
Yes. I would like to say, open your mind to it. Don't come to these parties with expectations like words to the music, picking up women, doing drugs etc. These are all misconceptions. Come with an open mind and be prepared to listen and absorb as much as you can and take what you can from the vibe, the collective energy and the entire trance dance experience. Say no to drugs. --> Which are excepted not neccassary
